Vadim Kuramshin has been freed!
Socialist Movement Kazakhstan has announced on its website that Vadim Kuramshin was released directly from the court-room in Taraz this morning soon after 11am.
The Movement expresses its heartfelt congratulations and gratitude to all those who did not stand aside and together with them constantly worried about his fate and fought for his release.

The coronavirus crisis has laid bare the class character of society in numerous ways. It is making clear to many that it is the working class that keeps society running, not the CEOs of major corporations.
The results of austerity have been graphically demonstrated as public services strain to cope with the crisis.
